We are excited to announce that with our Ministry Discernment Profile (MDP) completed and approved by all parties, we received our first set of 25 matches! These are potential candidates who matched us according to an algorithm developed by the Church Leadership Connection (CLC) of PCUSA. Our committee will continue to meet weekly as we read through each match intentionally and prayerfully. For those profiles that our committee deems compatible with the mission and vision of Nacoochee Presbyterian, we will extend an invitation to those individuals to match with us. That next step in the process doesn’t mean that we will meet these individuals, but it merely opens up additional information and access to sample sermons, references, and more for our committee to review. We anticipate that the hard work is really just beginning, and we ask that you continue to pray for our committee in the weeks and months to come.
