Our successful outdoor fellowship gathering on July 11 was followed up with a second event scheduled at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 31, with Saturday, August 1, as a rain date. As it turned out, 18 members gathered under the shelter of the porte cochere for about 15 minutes during a rainstorm on Friday evening, and 8 others attended during drier but hotter weather on Saturday for a total of 26 participants. On both occasions, members greeted and visited with each other near the beautiful church gardens, and Bob Prim led everyone in prayers of the people.
