Youth Programs

At Nacoochee Presbyterian, our kids are a central piece of our community and worship life.  Every Sunday we offer a Sunday School class during the worship service for our kids to learn about God and grow in their faith in a space that’s made just for them.  For the very young kids, we have a staffed nursery available at every service.

Each month, we host a special activity for the youth group.  This could be anything from game nights, movie days, museum trips, or roasting s’mores at a campfire!

In addition to regular weekly and monthly programming, periodically throughout the year we have special projects and programs.  We host Vacation Bible School during the summer, go caroling at Christmas time, and venture out on annual mission trips.  There’s always something going on with the kids at Nacoochee Presbyterian!

One of our favorite annual projects is “Souper Bowl of Caring”  held on Super Bowl Sunday each year. The adults offer a yummy lunch consisting of homemade breads and — you guessed it — soups. The NPC youth collect funds and nonperishable food items to support the White County Food Pantry, a countywide food bank.
