Youth Programs
Our young people are involved in programs and activities that play an important role in the ministry of the church. During the summer, while elementary and middle school students attend Vacation Bible School, senior high students have the opportunity to participate in various missions. For example: the Appalachia Service Project or Cross Missions. Summer of 2023 our youth will be go Panama with Filters for Hope.
One of our favorite annual projects is “Souper Bowl of Caring” held on Super Bowl Sunday each year. The adults offer a yummy lunch consisting of homemade breads and — you guessed it — soups, and the NPC youth collect funds and nonperishable food items to support the White County Food Pantry, a countywide food bank.
Save the date for May 6th for the Water 4 the World Benefit!!
This will be a day filled with music, silent auction items, crafts, food and activities for the kids. This Benefit is a collaboration between NPC, Clarkesville Presbyterian, Cornelia Presbyterian and Dahlonega Presbyterian Churches. The proceeds raised with go toward helping to send youth from each of these congregations to Panama this summer. We are partnering with Filters for Hope to take needed water filters to individuals in need of a resource for clean drinking water.
