In recent years, our church, along with many other faith groups, has participated in an outreach ministry to assist Palestinian olive oil farmers, who suffer great persecution in their homeland. We do so by offering an opportunity to purchase their fair-trade products, which are distributed by Zatoun and displayed for sale at our church in the cabinet on the south wall of Fellowship Hall.
With Covid-19 restrictions reducing the number of people attending worship services and other events, oil and spice purchases in churches and other faith communities have lagged. In response, Zatoun is making its products available for direct purchase online, as described in the graphic below. For more information or to place an order, visit www.zatoun.com.

You may be assured that we will continue to offer the oil and spices in Fellowship Hall as before, so if it’s more convenient to pick up your supply there, please do so. Just take the products you need and leave your check in the wooden box. If you pay with cash, please contact John Luhn so he can pick it up promptly for safekeeping. IOU notes are accepted. Note that the church makes no profit on these sales; all proceeds go directly to assist Palestinian farmers who operate under very difficult conditions.
For the first time in more than 20 years, it has been necessary to increase the price of the olive oil by $5.00 per bottle, to $25. The price of $5 for the bags of spice will remain unchanged.
Please contact John Luhn at (813) 263-5846 if you have questions or need additional information.
