Our Benevolence ministry continues to receive requests for assistance related to living expenses (electric, gas, rent, etc.). Especially receiving our attention are families (mostly single parent) with children. It is not unusual to find them living in their car.
Hispanic ministry is busy with follow-up to the needs that were the focus of their most recent trip to Guatemala. Please speak with Dottie Foster for details and how you might become involved in the numerous works they conduct in our local community.
Family Promise ministry is up and running again following the unavoidable delays due to COVID and its aftermath. An announcement is to follow regarding details and how you might provide some easy assistance to our team.

The entire Outreach Committee is humbled and overjoyed at the response from our Church family to our initiative to raise money for those so tragically affected by the recent devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. We had decided to send our contribution for the relief of families left homeless ( & worse) to Shelter Box International with whom we have partnered in the past. Our committee pledged $1,000 and asked the Congregation to try to add $500 in gifts. What an amazing response. Through just one offering effort, you gifted $5,000!!! On Monday, with huge smiles from everybody, we mailed a check for $6,000 to Shelter Box. Words fail me.
