You know the impact the Covid-19 pandemic is having in the United States, where families are struggling with illness, income loss, food and supply shortages, and other disruptions of normal life. Imagine how much more difficult it is for our friends in Guatemala, where many communities were already vulnerable when the pandemic struck.
You can help by supporting the work of CEDEPCA (Protestant Center for Pastoral Studies in Central America) and the Association of Mam Christian Women for Development in providing emergency food kits, each of which costs $70.00 and will feed a family of five for one month. Please see more details here. You can contribute by sending your check for one or more food kits to the church office, payable to Nacoochee Presbyterian Church with “Guatemalan Food Boxes” on the “For” or “Memo” line.
