NPC’s Book Club will be discussing The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah at their November meeting. Willene Keel will be leading the book discussion via zoom on Tuesday, November 15 at 7pm.
The Nightingale is a riveting story of French sisters Vianne and Isabelle during WWII. The author, Kristen Hannah, brings to life the role of women, their resilience, durability, and resourcefulness during war. The Nightingale’s characters draw you into the story and the historical accuracy helps us understand life during this tumultuous time.
