Perhaps you have noticed the colorful bags hanging on a rack just inside the new entrance to the church. Take a peek into one and you’ll see that they are activity bags filled with items to help keep the youngest members of our congregation occupied during our morning worship services.
The bags are a project of the Worship Committee and were produced with the help of several volunteers. The committee would like to thank those who helped. Dr. Crumpton donated his staff’s unused scrubs to provide the fabric. Dottie Foster and the women of Convivio did a beautiful job of assembling and sewing the bags. And Paul Aaron constructed the peg rack to hold the activity bags in the entryway. All this work has produced a great addition to our children’s ministry.
The Worship Committee will meet at the church on Thursday, February 6, at 10:30 am. The group will discuss the purchase of new pew bibles and explore the options for assisted listening devices (ALD).
