PHOTO 1 – Attending the Men’s Breakfast on July 2 were (clockwise from left front) Rev. Bill Jackson, Tom Knecht, Gary Sievert, Hal Symes, Charles Hawkins, Phillip Barber, Laddie Rollins, Jim Brown, Jasper Lee, Ed Rand, Ted (who often camps in the area and visits our church), and Jerry Vandiver. Not shown is Rev. Francis Womack, Jr., who arrived shortly after the photo was taken.
No records have been kept, but attendance at the Men’s Breakfast on July 2 was the highest in recent memory. Thirteen men of the church gathered at Crossroads Café for a time of good fellowship and good food. The breakfast meals ordered were as varied as the topics of conversation.
The group meets at 8:30 am on the first Tuesday of each month. Crossroads Café is located at 4654 Georgia Hwy 115 about 2.4 miles west of the square in Clarkesville. All men of the church are invited to attend the next breakfast at 8:30 am on August 6.
