For those that don’t know….
New Nacoochee blue containers were put in place on new shelving in the kitchen so everyone could find items more efficiently instead of looking through all the drawers. The containers really come in handy when we are doing an event because now all you have to do is get the container you want and go to the food table. This took many, many, many hours and many volunteer days to organize this for the congregation. The containers are all labeled to make things easier.
Water bottles are stored in one of the ice chests under the dishwasher counter. Please limit the amount of water bottles in the refrigerator since other committees use this space.
There are new plastic containers to take leftovers home from a fellowship event or to take food to a loved one that was unable to come to church.
The main drawers in the kitchen were reorganized to accommodate new and old dishcloths, silverware all in the same drawer, baking pans, hot pads and more.
Larger baking pans are on the original shelving in the kitchen.
As you look around in the kitchen you will see that everything is clearly labeled. If you still can’t find what you are looking for just ask Gwen or someone from the fellowship committee. We will be glad to help you.
The church has an ice maker in the freezer section of the refrigerator. If you notice the ice bin is full please pull out the drawer and put ice in the bottom. You can also bag the ice. Zip lock bags are in the kitchen drawer for you to use. In order to provide ice, property committee had to move the refrigerator away from the wall, which took the space of the plate and bowl shelves. Those items are now being stored in the cabinet doors marked for fellowship supplies.
