We had a great crowd at the Fifth Sunday Potluck Brunch on July 30th.
Thank you to all who joined in for fellowship, fun, and fabulous food!
If you liked last Sunday’s 5th Sunday Brunch, come back this Sunday to finish it off. Bring your appetite but not your food. We had more food than we could eat so this Sunday’s fellowship we will have an Encore Presentation.
Make Up Day
Did you notice we missed a 5th Sunday in January? Hmmmm, someone was out of town to orchestrate the event…I wonder who? Details will be coming soon about a 5th Sunday in the Fall.
Ice Cream Social
Ice Cream Social will have a date soon. More people have signed up, The cones and toppings have been purchased. Now all we need is a few more volunteers! More information will be coming in the bulletins or in the fellowship hall. Contact Gwen Aumann if you would like to volunteer.
Ladies Luncheon is on hold until we have air conditioning in the fellowship hall. Until that time be thinking of what you would like to bring. Once there is a date, a sign up will appear in the fellowship hall. You will have the opportunity to sign up to bring an appetizer, or sandwiches or salads, a quiche or desserts or even ice tea or lemonade. You can also opt to bring nothing but your added time for meal prep, set up, clean up, etc. It is always fun to get together with each other and share a meal.
Book Club Zoom will meet on the 3rd Tuesday in August from 7-8:30 p.m. We are in the process of deciding on a book. Contact Gwen Aumann for any questions. We always have such lively discussions. We will post the book on the NPC website soon.
Calling all Garden Angels that have a compost pile at home. Sign up for a month to collect the coffee grounds for free. You will need to supply your own container to take the grounds. There are not too many plants in the church gardens that need the coffee grounds. If there are we will schedule a month for the church gardens and the rest will go to the Garden Angels who do so much work for the church gardens at NPC. The beauty of the garden beds surrounding the church is amazing. Take time to sit at one of the benches and just admire the beauty.
