Our church hosted another very successful Family Promise session during the first week of March. We opened our church to two families: a mother and her three teenage children, and a mother with three young children. Members of our church provided warm, nourishing meals at night and breakfast-to-go in the mornings. A very special thanks to Jennifer Herrera for arranging all those meals and to John Luhn for recruiting overnight hosts for each night to make our guests feel welcomed and cared for. Thanks to all who helped set up, break down, move the Family Promise trailer, and launder bedding. There is nothing like a church in action, helping its community!
