At its October meeting, the Session voted to explore installing solar energy panels for our church. A generous gift to the church for that purpose has made this energy option feasible.
With the help of Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL), our church has done much in the past two years to make our building more energy efficient. Now we can move forward with installing solar panels to supply a portion of our electrical energy needs. Using solar energy will not only reduce our electric bills, it will also reduce our carbon footprint and make our church building more sustainable for the future. — Nancy Greear
