Meeting online using videoconferencing tools such as Zoom has helped us continue many church activities when it has not been safe to gather in person because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The NPC Book Club meetings via Zoom have not only helped us meet during this period, but they have shown us that Zoom gatherings can serve other important purposes, too. For example, club members and community members who work during the day or live too far away to drive to the church for an evening meeting can now enjoy being a part of the church’s Book Club.
For that reason, the club will continue to meet via Zoom even after the church reopens for public worship. We meet once a month on the third Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the comfort of our homes.
