Amani Women Center (AWC) will join us on November 6th to share about their work of providing a pathway for economic security and overall wellbeing by empowering and educating refugee women through culturally tailored programs. AWC is a non-profit located in Clarkston, GA. Refugee women come to the Amani Sewing Academy to learn marketable job skills so they can support themselves and their families.
Amani specializes in high-quality clothing, cross body bags and totes in gorgeous African fabrics. AWC will be providing fellowship snacks and selling many handmade items during our fellowship time together. For more information you may visit www.amaniwomencenter.org or contact Jennifer Thomas at arial11@yahoo.com.
We look forward to you welcoming AWC to our community and taking the opportunity to get a jump start on some holiday shopping.
